On Jan. 24 at 10:30 a.m., Geos Environment’s general manager Eng. Antonio Marotta will participate in the live streaming “Still a Century of Asbestos for Italy?” on Ricicla.tv.
The webinar will be an opportunity for Institutions, Associations and experts to meet and exchange views on the issue of asbestos: between incomplete mapping, insufficient landfills and public investment gone astray, at the current rate of remediation it will take one hundred years to remove and reclaim all the asbestos still present on the national territory.
The event, therefore, aims to highlight the difficulties and issues related to the asbestos emergency; from the need for measures to protect those affected by disease as a result of exposure to asbestos fibers, to the difficulties of the regions in remediation work. Targeted actions aimed at improving the emergency situation in which the country finds itself are indispensable.
