Geos achieves Carbon Cancelling Certification for 2023

Geos Environment S.r.l., a leading company in environmental management with nearly 40 years of experience, has obtained the Carbon Cancelling Certification for the year 2023. This important recognition confirms that the company has achieved carbon neutrality by fully compensating the CO₂ emissions related to its activities.

This result was made possible thanks to constant emission monitoring, conducted with the support of Upgreene, and adherence to certified compensation programs. Upgreene, a strategic partner of Geos, contributed to accurately measuring the company’s carbon footprint, providing a solid foundation for the implementation of effective reduction and compensation strategies.

This milestone represents a further step forward in the company’s commitment to reducing its environmental impact, in line with the principles and initiatives outlined in its first Sustainability Report. This document provides transparent reporting on the strategies adopted to combine operational efficiency with sustainability.

The 2023 Sustainability Report includes concrete actions such as the use of solar photovoltaic energy in its offices, the introduction of employee welfare programs to improve well-being, and a strong focus on transparency, quality, and responsibility in its operations.

The 2023 Carbon Neutrality Certification adds to these results as a further hallmark of Geos’ concrete commitment to a more sustainable future. The company continues to work on integrating sustainability into its strategies and inspiring other organizations to undertake virtuous paths.

Geos thus reaffirms its leadership position in the environmental sector, demonstrating that the combination of economic growth, environmental protection, social responsibility, and responsible governance is not only necessary but also achievable.
